Scientific library of Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata

1. General rules

1.1 The scientific library of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University (hereinafter referred to as the Library) forms, preserves and organizes the possibility of access to funds in the thematic directions of the educational process and research activity of the university.

1.2 The library performs scientific, informational and cultural-educational services, provides educational, educational, scientific and innovative services at the university.

1.3 This Regulation was adopted by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2000. To the Model Regulation "On the Library of the Higher Professional Education Organization" approved by Order No. 827 of November 17; It was developed in accordance with the Regulations on the Al-Farabi Library and normative documents of the university.

1.4 This Regulation regulates the general procedure for organizing services for readers in the Library.

1.5 By using the library services, the user agrees to these rules and confirms that he is familiar with the rights and obligations of Library users (link).

2. 2. The order of readers to register in the library

2.1 Registration of readers to the library is carried out in subscriptions according to the university .

2.2 First-year students enroll in the library 2.3 After registration, the reader is obliged to familiarize himself with the rules of use of this Library and strictly observe them.

3. Subscription usage rules

3.1 Subscriptions include home delivery of literature. Users can also apply for books online.

3.2 When taking books and other materials from the library, the reader must carefully examine them, if he notices any defects in the publication, he must show it to the librarian, otherwise the responsibility for the defect of the publication will be borne by the reader who last used it.

3.3 The user receives the literature for one semester or one year.

3.4 Encyclopedias, handbooks, theses are available only in study halls. If the necessary literature is not available in the subscription, it can be found in the section on the home page of the library's website.

4. Rules for using the study hall

4.1 Visitors to the study hall have the opportunity to work in the study hall stock in the mode of free use. Readers can independently find and browse the necessary literature on the shelves.

4.2 If the necessary literature is not available in the reading room, the user can find it on the website of the library in the sections "Electronic library" or "Electronic catalog" and order it from the librarian.

4.3 A single copy of the literature will not be sent home

6. Rules for using the library's electronic hall

6.1 The electronic hall offers access to resources of the Internet network, subscription databases and personal electronic information resources created by us, and allows to work using educational and scientific service software installed on computers. 6.2 For the convenience of users, the electronic library is divided into a multimedia area and areas for working with the Internet.

7. Working with donated books

7.1 The library accepts the following types of publications as a gift, both traditional and electronic:

• educational and methodological publications (publications published in the last 5 years);
• scientific and scientific publications (published in the last 5 years);
• art albums;
• domestic and foreign fiction;
• magazines that match the image of the library or magazines that are needed to supplement the missing publication copy in the collection;
• publications, manuscripts belonging to rare, special, valuable categories

7.2 The main parameters of the publications accepted as a gift are relevance, scientific, historical and artistic value, compliance with the thematic and typological profile of the collection of the library fund.

7.3 The library does not accept donations of publications aimed at inciting national and religious discord, promoting racial intolerance, anti-social behavior and other negative phenomena.

7.4 Donated publications are accepted in the collection and cataloging department of the Korkyt Ata scientific library.
